NECOA at the 2025 Plano Balloon Festival: A Weekend of Color, Community, and Clean Water
Every September, Plano’s skies light up with a kaleidoscope of hot air balloons, music, and family fun. The Plano Balloon Festival is one of North Texas’ most anticipated community events, drawing tens of thousands of families for a weekend of rides, games, live entertainment, delicious food, and of course the breathtaking balloon launches and evening balloon glows.
From the bustling midway to the calm moments of watching balloons drift overhead, the festival is an experience that captures the magic of togetherness.

A Festival for Everyone
The Plano Balloon Festival is more than just balloons in the sky. It is an all-day celebration packed with excitement. Kids dart between carnival rides, families gather at picnic tables for festival food favorites like jumbo corn dogs and fresh lemonade, and the crowds settle in for evening entertainment.
Whether it is enjoying the live music, playing games, shopping local vendors, or watching the balloons inflate at sunset, the event offers something for all ages.

Balloons that Light Up the Sky
As dusk settles, the field transforms into a sea of glowing balloons. Each one illuminates with bursts of fire from the burners, creating a magical atmosphere that draws “oohs” and “aahs” from the crowd. This year, NECOA was proud to be part of the festivities with our mobile showroom activation. Our team welcomed families to experience our smart water purifier, designed to provide purified, reverse-osmosis filtered water right in the heart of their homes.
